With over 30 years of producing films across the African continent, Jeremy has produced filmed content across the entire audio-visual spectrum, including over 35 feature films, 6 television drama series, numerous feature documentaries and many short films.

He has produced films in South Africa, Algeria, Botswana, Ethiopia, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Senegal, Swaziland, Tanzania, Tunisia, and Zimbabwe.

Jeremy has advised Government (South Africa), helping to create policy for its embryonic film industries, and been involved in creating film organisations (Film and Allied Workers Organisation (FAWO), the National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF), the Independent Producers Organisation (IPO) and Southern African Communication for Development (SACOD).

He has lectured at a variety of universities including the University of Cape Town (UCT), London International Film School (LIFS), NYU Film School, and the South African School of Dramatic Art (AFDA), where he was the External Head of Production, mentoring individual students, adjudicating student year-end work, and providing a variety of courses on all aspects of producing.

He has spoken at Symposia, Festivals and Conferences globally and written widely about the emergent SouthAfrican film industry, for Dazed and Confused, Weekly Mail, New Nation, Vertigo and the Congress of SA Writers (COSAW).

He was part of the International Advisory Board at the Rotterdam International Film Festival between 1996 and 2016.
